TELETRACK LAUNCHES REAL-TIME
OFAC ACTIVITY REPORT
~ A service for monitoring the Office of Foreign Asset Control SDN list ~
NORCROSS, Ga., November 6, 2003—Teletrack, Inc., the nation’s sub-prime credit
bureau, today announced the availability of OFAC Activity Reports in real-time. This new
Teletrack service provides businesses with an efficient, immediate and cost effective method for
reviewing OFAC activity reports.
Teletrack’s new OFAC Activity
Reports identify inquiries performed on behalf of a consumer who closely matches an entry on
the Treasury Department’s OFAC SDN list. Once a match occurs, Teletrack reports the details
of the suspect inquiry back to the responsible financial institution. The Teletrack database is
updated daily with new information from the Treasury Department to help ensure the most recent
additions and deletions to the blocked persons list always remains current.
Using the data provided by the Treasury Department, Teletrack’s OFAC Activity Report service helps
help ensure that merchants conducting financial transactions remain informed and do not
unknowingly provide money, goods or services to individuals being monitored by the Office of
Foreign Asset Control. |
